A LITTLE ABSTRACTED
Thru May 13, 2017
A Little Abstracted showcases abstract artwork that employs intense color, bold shapes and intriguing textures. Twiggs guest curator artist Marcia Santore invited three NH artists to join her for this exhibit: Kate Higley, Ethel Hills and Lotus Lien. Together, their art is hot and wild, full of mystery and movement.
SATURDAY, MAY 6 & SUNDAY, MAY 7 FROM 10-4
Twiggs owner, Adele Sanborn, is a calligrapher and mixed media artist. She would like to invite you to join her as she opens her working studio for the NH Open Doors tour. She will be doing a demo each day demonstrating everything from calligraphy to paste paper to book making. This year, she is sharing her studio space and gallery with five other artists who will be selling their work as well as demonstrating their craft. The artists are; photographer Gail Rousseau, bead artist Gail Devoid, book artist Gail Smuda, basket maker Lisha Kimball and seamstress artist Beth Roy.
On Saturday from 12-3 Country Crow will be playing live blues/folk music in the gallery. Join us for a day of art, fun and music!
